Paul and Barb plan to leave 2 days early so you can visit Barcelona before the cruise.  This pre-cruise visit will depart on September 22 to give you a full day and two half-days in Barcelona for sightseeing.  This package includes 2 nights' hotel, transfers from the airport to the hotel and to the pier on sailing day.  A 1/2 day sightseeing tour is also included.  You might also want to take this chance to see a real Flamenco Show. 

We are also planning a post-cruise extension to Rome for anyone who would like to have more time there.  During the cruise there is a one day visit for basic sightseeing.  If you are interested in a more in-depth experience, you may wish to extend your stay for two extra nights in Rome.  This package includes the train from Venice to Rome on Oct 7, 2 nights' hotel and transfers.  The cost for this extension will be about $495 per person.  Additional sightseeing is at your choice.
